Projects - Modular Mixed Services
This project is typical of many of the projects that we carry out involving the conversion of architectural drawings into modularised sections. The steps of this process are detailed below.
First we receive the drawings from the customer which in general have been prepared jointly by a team of architects and consulting engineers. An example is shown below.

From here we break down the pipework into sections, or modules. This allows for the modules to be prefabricated and easily transported to site for quick installation.

Once the clients drawings have been modularised fabrication drawings for each module are prepared. This includes a fabricated frame with calculated lifting points finished to specification with end to end pipework complete with flange mounts ready to be connected to its relevant section on site.

This project was for a large hotel plant room carrying mixed service pipework including steam, water and gas through pipework upto Ø600mm. Below are a number of photographs of the project.
