Projects - Data Centre Chiller - Corsham

We were contracted by JCA Engineering to fabricate a complete pipework project for a two storey data center cooling system. The project was fabricated completely off site, delivered in modular components and installed.

The isometric below details the external pipework from a similar point to the photo above. The pipework to the right leads into a two storey building containing the data center for which we supplied, manufactured, delivered and installed chilled water pipework with 125mm header to 6 CRAC Units per floor.

The lower plant room contained the pumps, buffer vessels and dosing chambers which were assembled offsite and installed in modules. All pipework was fabricated by PAC Fabrications with pumps and valves etc sourced. The buffer vessels were supplied to our works by the client although full fitting and finishing was carried out by PAC Fabrication.

PAC Fabrications also supplied all supporting structural metalwork including supports, structures, suspended sections, steps and walkways fully galvanised. The Pump room was premanufactured and assembled onto a concrete slab after which a GRP enclosure was constructed .
